Archiving & Digital Preservation Policy

Long-Term Availability & Archiving Strategy

NovaSphere Journal of Information Systems and Digital Innovation (NSJISDI) is committed to the long-term preservation of and perpetual access to all published scientific research. To ensure that published content remains accessible to the global scholarly community even in the event of unforeseen server downtime or journal operations disruption, NSJISDI employs robust digital archiving and repository preservation systems.

Archiving Networks & Repository Services

NSJISDI utilizes distributed archiving systems and self-archiving permissions to safeguard digital assets:

PKP Preservation Network (PN) & LOCKSS / CLOCKSS

NSJISDI participates in the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network (PKP PN), which leverages LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) protocols to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. This guarantees permanent digital preservation of all published volumes and issues.

1. Author Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their article (Submitted Version, Accepted Version, and Published PDF/Version of Record) in institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, or personal websites immediately after publication.

2. National & Institutional Archives

All published metadata and full-text articles are indexed and archived in national database systems, including the National Library of Indonesia (Perpusnas) digital repository (ISJN / OneSearch) and GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital).

3. Persistent Identifiers (DOI)

Each article published in NSJISDI is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registered through Crossref. This ensures permanent citation linkage and cross-platform access across international indexing databases.

Server Infrastructure & Backup Policy

The publisher maintains daily off-site backups of the complete OJS database, system files, and article galleys. In the event of system failure, full operational recovery can be executed within a minimal timeframe to maintain seamless public access.

NSJISDI is committed to open science and long-term digital preservation under the management of PT RYE Edukasi Kreativa Publikasi.
